Did you ever want to have some privacy and time to yourself in your room? With this “No Entry” Sign project, you can make a sign for your bedroom door which will let people know if you’re receiving visitors or not. You can even set what kind of visitors you are willing to see.
Cut out all the images from the documents that have been printed out. If you have chosen to print out the black and white version, you should colour in all the parts.
Cut out one large side of your cereal box so that you have 1 large rectangle.
Glue images 1 and 5 to the cereal box, using your handy Pritt Stick.
Cut out the images 1 and 5 from the cereal box using your scissors.
Make little round holes in image 1 and 5 using your scissors.
Glue image 4a to the toothpicks, as seen in the image. Then cut it short.
Place the toothpicks through the hole in image 1 and 5.
Glue image 4b to the other end of the toothpick, as seen in the image. Then cut it short.
Now write your 3 or 4 phrases in the sign field. We wrote: “No entry”, “Room service needed”, “Only enter with ice cream”, “I am sleeping”, “Stop & knock”.
Use a pencil to roll and glue image 3 into a cylinder.
Cut the cylinder (3) into short strips +/- 1 cm long (as seen in the picture). The rounds are used to stick the remaining pictures to your sign. They will make the pictures stand out a little, which will give the sign a 3D effect.
Now use two rounds to glue the knight (1) to the castle wall (2).
Use two rounds to glue the watchtowers (6a and 6b) to the castle (2)
Now use the remaining rounds to glue the remaining clouds (6) onto your “No entry” sign, as seen in the photo.
