Bands often play their music on a stage in front of their numerous fans. These musical events happen in many different cities. Bands will go on tour with their roadies and visit many different cities to play for as many fans as possible. The roadies are the people who build the stage for the band to play on and when the performance is over they take the stage down and move it to the next event location. Today you can make your own stage and band with the following Pritt project.
Collect all the tools and materials.
Cut out the images on the printouts.
Cut along the cereal box corners so as to maximize the size of the surface area.
Now use your handy Pritt Stick to glue images 1, 2 and 3 (front stage) to the front of the cereal box (as seen in the picture) and image 4 (back stage) to the back of the box. Allow the setup to dry for 1 minute.
Cut away the excess cardboard from the two sides of the cereal box.
Glue the two sides of the cereal box to the shoebox. Make sure that the lights are on the top and that the front stage is in the front facing outwards and the back stage is in the back facing inwards.
Now glue image 5 to the front of the stage on the bottom of the shoebox. Place images 6 and 7 on the sides of your stage so as to cover the shoebox. Cut image 8 so it fits the size of the stage floor and use your Pritt Stick to glue it into place. Allow everything to dry for 1 minute.
Cut away the excess paper from the stage using your scissors.
Glue the bases of your band performers (images 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14) together.
Use image 15 to glue your singer to the 20 cm to 30 cm long wooden stick.
Now place all your band members on the stage with the singer.
And that’s it! You’re now ready to stage a performance on your very own stage.
And that is it!
You’re now ready for a performance on your very own stage.
We hope you have lots of fun with your Pritt band and stage.
We would love to see pictures of your band and stage. You can ask your mum or dad to post pictures on our Facebook wall at “Pritt world”.
