Materials:

  • 1 sheet of paper (pdf printout)

Tools:

  • 1 handy Pritt Stick
  • 1 pair of scissors

Backstory:

Make a load speaker and share your music with friends! Many people have music on their cell phones and they love to share music with their friends. This quick and easy Pritt project will help you share music with your friends on the next school trip or picnic in the park.

Step 1

Collect all the tools and materials.

Step 2

Cut along the dotted line.

Step 3

Spread a generous amount of Pritt Glue onto the area called “Feed the Pritt Monster”.

Step 4

Then pull point P over the top of the page to hide the Pritt Monster and glue point P on top of point T.

Step 5

Now place the Sound Cone on a flat surface.

Step 6

Play your favorite music on a mobile phone and try to hear where the sound is coming from.

Step 7

When you find the source of the sound, place it in the very back of the Sound Cone facing down into the cone.  This is so that the sound can be reflected in the cone.

Step 8

When you stand back you will notice the music is now much louder than if you do not use the Sound cone to amplify it.

Congratulations!

Now you can share your music with your friends on your next trip using your Pritt sound cone!

We would love to see pictures of your Sound Cone. You can ask your mum or dad to post your pictures on our Facebook wall at “Pritt world”.
